      How do I know what kind of seal I need?

      If it’s a domestic fridge or freezer, we just need the make and model of the fridge. For commercial fridges, they all have very different profiles so if you aren’t sure, we recommend having us measure up for you, or suggest you bring in a cut sample of your seal with the measurements you need.


      How do I know if my seal needs replacing?

      If your fridge is icing up, not staying at temperature, not staying closed, if the seal if broken or if the seal is too stiff it may need replacement. We also recommend replacement of mouldy seals for food contamination reasons.


      Where can I find my fridge model number?

      Most manufactures don’t make you pull the fridge out from the wall to find this, it’s usually on a little compliance plate on the inside of the fridge near the fruit/veg draws, but it does vary model to model so if there is nothing on the inside of the fridge it is possible it’s on the side or rear of the fridge.


      How do I measure for my seal correctly?

      Open up the door and measure corner to corner of the seal (not the door itself). The measurements needed are of the outside edge of the seal (not the inside).


      How much will it cost to replace my seal?

      Unfortunately there isn’t a one size fit all option, so we need to know the profile and dimensions in order to provide you an accurate price. We can get a price to you same day however so please just reach out and we are happy to assist.
