      TJS Constructions (QLD) Pty Ltd, TJS Building Group is a family business based from our head office in Toowoomba.

      We understand that every home serves a different purpose and is used in different ways and because of this, it was an easy decision for us to make to build custom homes that grow with their owners.

      Terry has supplied and constructed over ten homes in the Katherine area in the Northern Territory and is happy to service rural and remote locations throughout Australia. TJS Building Group provides fixed price contracts and licensed to carry out most types of construction activity in Queensland, Northern Territory and New South Wales. It is this depth and knowledge that sets us apart from other builders.

      We are now entering into contract stage. All the necessary contract documents are drawn up for you to sign. These Documents include: Draft floor plans and elevations Soil test Engineer design footings and concrete slab Energy assessment (6 stars) Specifications and inclusions Queensland master builder association (QMBA) building contract Queensland master builder association (QMBA) Building Contract A 5% deposit less $3,300 is required at the signing of these documents.

      How long does it take for you to construct our dream home?

      Generally we have a 16 week time frame- which means you will be in your dream home sooner.


      What can I expect when building with TJS?

      In building with TJS your more than just a number on our board- you become part of our family. We care, as much as you do in regards to quality and finishes and regard communication with clients to be a priority.


      In which areas do you build?

      Regional South East QLD- including but not limited to Toowoomba, Warwick, St George, Roma, Goondiwindi and Stanthorpe.


      What services do you offer?

      TJS Building Group is a family business based from our head office in Toowoomba. Terry Schefe, a registered builder, employs on average 20 main stream staff as well as many sub-trades to specialise in residential, industrial and commercial construction. Terry has been designing, building and renovating residential, industrial and commercial properties for more than 30 years.


      What style of house do you normally build?

      We construct all styles of homes. Due to our wealth of knowledge and flexibility we can help create your dream home as you want.


      Do you have plans for sloping blocks?

      We have many plans- Most of our plans are generally used as starting point and modified to suit individual needs.


      Do you build with timber or steel?

      Whilst we have experience with both steel and timber. We prefer to use steel as it has many advantages besides being cost effective and reliable. If you would like to know more about it advantages, feel free to contact us.


      Do you provide free build estimates?

      Yes We do! Our build estimates are customised to each specific clients needs. Eg. septic system requirements, or whether you need to build on stumps.
