What is the cylinder rated at?
For Baker Hydraulics standard replacement cylinders the operating pressure would be between 2000-3000 psi (138- 207 bar) depending on the application. We can manufacture cylinders to meet your load and operating parameters.
Can you tell me about price and availability?
For a standard replacement cylinder you should contact the nearest member of our National Reseller network. For other custom designed and manufactured cylinders we can supply detailed quotes and lead times on inquiry. Please complete our I need a solution form and we'll get back to you promptly.
How quick can I get it delivered to me?
If it is a standard Baker Hydraulic replacement cylinder then it can be sourced by visiting your local Baker Hydraulics Reseller. Normally our resellers can dispatch a standard cylinder on the same day of order (within reason of course - not at 4:55pm before a 5:00pm close). In emergency situations we will use the most appropriate form of transport available.
Can I buy it locally?
If you require a standard Baker Hydraulics replacement cylinder (identified by the numbers on the cylinder barrel) then the answer is "yes". Contact the nearest member of our National Reseller Network.
What is your current lead-time?
If you want one of our standard (stock) replacement cylinders then these are normally obtainable from stock held by our National Reseller Network. For a new design it is normally 4 weeks from the receipt of a detailed enquiry.
Can the lead-time be improved?
In breakdown circumstances we can, if necessary, re-organize our schedules to provide a speedier service but there is obviously an additional cost involved.
Do you manufacture in other materials?
Yes, we also manufacture in various grades of stainless steel predominantly for equipment operating in a marine environment.
Can you paint the cylinder to my specs?
Yes, we can but there is a small additional cost. We can also provide the cylinders with an etched primer so you can finish them in your own colours. We have a standard range of colours available at no extra cost - grey, blue, black and safety yellow.
Can I buy a seal repair kit?
Yes. Please contact your nearest National Reseller member who will be able to assist you. They have access to over 40 years of historic Baker Hydraulic cylinder data and will be able to find the seal kit number for you.
