Andy is a keen surfer and grew up in the South Coast of NSW. He studied Surveying at Wollongong TAFE and later at the University of Newcastle completing a four year degree in 1997. He completed his Professional Training Agreement with The Board of Surveyors of NSW, obtaining his Certificate of Competency in early March 2003. He was then Registered with The Board of Surveyors of NSW as a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor later that same month. In 2005, Andy was made an Associate of Allen Price and Associates of Nowra (now Allen Price and Scarrats) and not long after completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Town Planning at The University of Technology Sydney. He then became a Partner at Allen Price and Associates in 2007.
