      What are the steps involved in a total roof restoration?

      Each roof is different in its requirements, the following is a guide as to the steps involved in a total roof restoration - Install Safety Rails - Replace damage and broken tiles - Re-bed capping tiles where necessary - Pressure Clean Roof - Apply Flexible pointing to all capping tiles - Apply Sealer Coat - Apply Colour Coats using Regent Paints.


      How can I tell if my roof needs a restoration?

      Is your roof leaking or looking tired, Can you see the cement pointing coming away. Like anything in your home, your roof needs to be kept maintained. Once your roof gets to about 12 years it may begin to show signs of deterioration, these can include moss, lichen, cracked and broken pointing and bedding, movement of tiles, cracked and chipped tiles, tiles becoming porous. Unless you are a roofing expert it can be hard to diagnose these problems.
