      At Greenhill Manor we understand how important it is for you to continue living the same lifestyle to which you have become accustomed. As such, our 24/7 nursing care is keenly focused on helping you maintain your independence. You may need a little help getting ready in the morning, support when moving around or medical care such as help managing medicines. Whatever you need, our friendly team is here to support you.

      At Greenhill Aged Care, the focus is on creating a family environment. Set in tranquil surrounds with landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces, Greenhill Aged Care encompassing Hillside, The Manor and The Lodge, is a place where residents can enjoy an active lifestyle with plenty of room to entertain family and friends. The heritage-listed estate steeped in the history of BHP, offers serenity from the bustle of city living and 24-hour care for peace of mind. But Greenhill Aged Care offers so much more. Recent upgrades to The Manor include an additional 50 new rooms, with luxurious furnishings to ensure the comfort of your loved one. Each room comes with a king single bed, wall-mounted television with Foxtel and free-to-air channels and individually controlled air-conditioning. Ground-floor rooms offer private outdoor terraces and all room shave balcony doors to enjoy the stunning views across the Illawarra. We all value our social time, so the new addition incorporates two spacious lounge rooms with self-serve tea and coffee facilities while on beautiful days, there’s no better place to be than our sunlit cafe with an outdoor deck and seating.

      What is the Income Tested Fee?

      The Commonwealth Government income tests all residents permanently entering any Commonwealth funded residential aged care facility. This fee is determined by Centrelink and is based on a calculation of non-pension income as per Commonwealth government regulations.


      What is the Basic Daily Care Fee?

      This fee is paid by all residents entering into an aged care facility irrespective of whether it is high or low care. The amount is determined by the Department of Health and Ageing and is dependent on your income.


      What is the Extra Service Fee?

      This fee is paid by those who have chosen residency at an Extra Service Facility. It is approved by the Department of Health & Ageing and may vary depending on the room type within Hillside at Figtree (e.g.: Single Ensuite or Couples accommodation).


      Is there a Residency Agreement?

      Yes, there is a detailed Resident Agreement that outlines your rights and entitlements and all conditions of residency.
