DVD Infinity

I had some old standard 8mm and super 8mm film that belonged to my partners grandfather. Initially I had it converted with another service, but the quality was poor, and the parts where there should have been sound were silent. I was told converting standard 8mm film with sound was impossible.



I found DVD Infinity as a last hope to preserve this film - Col looked at each reel and examined it, he told me which had sound and which did not. They convert the film with digital scans instead of a projector, so the quality is much better and they CAN do standard 8mm sound.



Col explained the entire process to me and kept me updated along the way. He was helpful, polite, and the end result was gorgeous. When the film came in, Col showed me a preview on his computer. I left the shop with all my footage on a USB, as well as a beautifully put together DVD with a lovely cover.



I cannot thank DVD Infinity enough for their help - footage that we thought was lost has been brought back to life. My partner is able to hear his grandparents voices again (both of whom have passed away). The service went above and beyond what I expected, thank you so much again for all your help!
