Zee and his assistant, Imran, did a marvellous job installing two Daikin split-system reverse-cycle air conditioners at our home, recently. They arrived promptly and went about the job in a coordinated and systematic way. The boring through the walls was done neatly and precisely and the internal and external units positioned exactly where we wanted them. Everything was done neatly and their electrician, Stephen, arrived and completed the connection to the power supply. We are more than pleased with the results and would recommend Zee and his team highly for their professionalism. The pricing was very competitive as well.

Zee's service was exceptional. It was quick and easy to arrange the installation of 2 split system air conditioners via text message and phone. The technicians were flexible in coordinating the installation day and time when needed and arrived promptly for the agreed appointment. The installation options were explained and collaboratively agreed upon based on optimizing unit funtion and aesthetic appearance. Installers were friendly, appeared efficient and respectful of your property. Packaging was prepared for disposal and Zee even returned a cabinet back to it's normal position. I therefore recommend this company in light of my own positive experience.

Our aircon broke down on a very hot Sunday. Optima was there within hours and diagnosed the fault. A spare part on board and presto, fixed in minutes, at a very reasonable price.

The short version: we highly recommend Optima, they were very prompt, professional, competitively priced, and did a great job installing our replacement air conditioning system.

The long version: our 11 year old ducted air conditioning system had been playing up for a while and decided to pack it in just as the hot weather started. We knew this was one of the worst times of the year to be shopping for a new air conditioner and we were certain that it would be after Christmas before we got a replacement system.

We were unsure as to whether we should replace it with another ducted system or go for multiple split systems. We knew there were pros and cons for both systems but ultimately cost and installation time were the big factors for us. We got the company out that we had been using for maintenance for the last few years to help us make the decision. They told us that changing over the ducted system to a new one was a major job that would be very expensive and it was obvious that they were heavily biased towards split systems, which is all they gave us a quote on.

We were not satisfied with this as it did not help us make an informed decision so we had a look online and found Optima Air Conditioning Services on True Local. We contacted Zee and explained the situation and thankfully he was able to come out in a very short period of time to do an onsite quote. He listened to what our requirements were, reviewed what we already had in place, and clearly explained the options available to us. He advised that the ducted system would probably come out cheaper as we could reuse the existing ducting. Zee quickly had written quotes to us for both ducted and split systems, which were for big name brand units, and the prices were great, easily beating the other company. As Zee had initially indicated, the ducted system was the cheaper option for us.

We are generally a bit sceptical of customer reviews but decided to have a read of the ones for Optima on True Local. They were all positive and were consistent with our experience with Zee. We immediately contacted Zee and after checking stocks he confirmed that they would be able to install it in an amazingly short period of time.

Right from the start I knew I was being given honest and thorough advice based on years of experience.
That gave me the confidence to proceed with replacement of an old ducted system with a choice of tested and proven modern equipment. It turned out we could continue to use 9 existing ceiling vents but now with 7 different zones. That, in itself, makes for a more economical system to run, in addition to the power saved using an inverter over the old non- inverting clunker.
