We were Porter Davis clients who paid 90% of the contract price but ended with about a 60% complete house build with lots of serious defects in plumbing, brickwork, walls etc.

Like others, we struggled through the protracted insurance process and ended with a settlement that still left us with significant out of pocket costs to fund the rectification and completion works. It was not easy to find a builder who would take on an incomplete PD build so we regard ourselves as lucky in finding Matthew Andrews.

Fortunately, we have now got a finished home, due to engaging Strikon. Matthew has proven to be reliable, very competent, friendly, open and honest in his dealings with us and prepared to put in the extra effort to get a quality outcome. He is a good communicator as he keeps in regular touch to tell us what is happening and what is planned. His quote was competitive. He delivered on his completion promises and accommodated variations while having to deal with holdups from some key supplier delays that were out of his control.

Frankly, we ended up with a better home that we would have got through PD. We highly recommend Strikon if you are still looking for a competent trustworthy builder to help get your home finished.
