Geriatric Medicine covers the complex nature of medical problems experienced by older people.
Queensland Geriatric Medicine Group provides Geriatric Medicine Services across Brisbane through ambulatory care at multiple locations, inpatient care across 4 private hospitals, and community based care including selected nursing homes. Four Geriatric Medicine Specialists now provide services under the QGMG banner. We have our newest Geriatrician, Dr David Shum, joining QGMG early in 2016. Referrals can be made directly to our specialists or to Queensland Geriatric Medicine Group to access the soonest available appointment with the first available specialist.
