      Cudgegong Driver Education started in 2013 to provide driving lessons for people in the Gulgong area. With a very high first time success rate of 99.5% for the P's test, your wheels are in good hands. We have a female patient instructor, happy to take any age for their test preparation. Both manual and automatic vehicles are available for students without their own.

      Rochelle is a mother with three teenage boys of her own. She is committed to the safety of country drivers, having driven mainly country roads all her driving life. Rochelle knows the reality of long distance driving necessary in the bush and about unexpected encounters with Australian wildlife. She loves city driving too and regularly drives in city areas. Rochelle is a professional physiotherapist which helps her to teach drivers with disability.

      How many lessons should I have?

      Everyone is different, but everyone should do at least three lessons with a driving instructor for the three most important things, scanning, parking and polishing before the test.


      My mother is nearly 85, should she do the test, ask to be restricted or just hand her license in?

      Losing your independence is a terrible thing; everyone should be assessed before they hand in their licence. I'm happy to take anyone out to make sure they don't have any bad habits.


      Is it better to do my test on a manual or automatic vehicle?

      You should do your test on the car you drive the most; the test is exactly the same for both cars. Practice makes perfect no matter what you drive. I am able to offer instruction on both automatic & manual vehicles.
