Delivering durable, innovative, and sustainable Australian-made polyethylene water tanks for diverse industries and environments.
Starting in 1998 as a family business Global has grown from a small part time venture into a large national company with factories in Victoria and Queensland. Global Roto Moulding Pty Ltd began trading in 1999 as Mildura Roto-Moulding. At that time, our product range included a number of small tanks and a range of custom moulded machine parts.
At Global Roto Mouldings Pty Ltd in Helidon, we deliver end-to-end design and manufacturing services across mining, domestic and industrial water, agricultural, rural, and coal seam gas sectors. Our integrated process includes CAD-based design, precision production, quality control, and reliable delivery. This full-service approach supports clients in efficiently bringing new polyethylene water tank products to market. Backed by technical expertise and sector knowledge, we serve as a trusted partner in water storage and tank supply solutions for various industries.
We manufacture Australian-made poly water tanks using high-grade, 100% recyclable polyethylene that meets AS 2070 and AS/NZS 4020 standards for food and drinking water safety. Our tanks are UV-stabilised, corrosion-resistant, and chemically durable, making them ideal for long-term use in domestic, commercial, and agricultural applications. Product lines include residential slimline and underground tanks, modular and fire service tanks, rural and irrigation tanks, and a premium range with enhanced drainage and fittings.
Our tank categories include above-ground, underground, and cartage tanks for varied use cases. We supply specialised tanks such as Bigfoot, Lightfoot, diesel and spray tanks, as well as compact sprayers and traditional designs. Customisable options include sump integration, anchor points, dual-skin moulding, and colour variations. We also produce aquaculture tanks, expanding our commitment to purpose-built polyethylene storage solutions. As an Australian-owned business, we prioritise quality, durability, and innovation in every product. Call us to know more!

Why consider roto moulded plastic parts?
Benefits include weight reduction, corrosion resistance, and reduced cost. Rotational moulding provides the designer the freedom to address form along with function. Parts can be designed to be more ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing without affecting performance. In many cases roto moulded parts reduce the number of components in an assembly.
What colours are available? Can I choose my own?
Colour can be incorporated by dry blending a customized pigment formulation with ground natural material, or by hot melt compounding prior to grinding. With both methods, a wide range of colours is available. Our design team will evaluate specific requests. Important considerations are: base resin, pigment type restrictions (if any), environment, cost, opacity required, and part surface finish.
What materials are your tanks made from?
Our tanks use high-grade, UV-stabilised, 100% recyclable polyethylene designed for durability, chemical resistance, and environmental safety.
How can I find out if a product can be contained in a roto moulded part?
Specific chemical resistance information is available upon request. It is important to provide additional information such as temperature, concentrations, density, and how the product is to be used.
What kind of tooling is required?
Thin wall, hollow molds of two or more sections are most common. These molds are typically cast or machined aluminium, or fabricated from steel or aluminium. Individual mold sections are fitted with frames and a clamping system. The mould is provided with a method to mount it to a rotomoulding machine.
What tank sizes and types do you offer?
