BCI dental lab is a family owned dental laboratory specialising in Crown, Bridge and Implant restorations. We also manufacture some removable appliances such as Splints, Mouthguards, Retainers etc. BCI is proudly endorsed by the Australian Made Campaign with a 100% guarantee that all our products are made in-house.
At BCI Dental we believe that without planning there is no guarantee for success. We prefer to work close with the entire team of dental professionals. Including but not limited to dentist, assistance, periodontists, surgeons etc. Palatal dressing/Guards and used to protect the palate after a graft. Usually requested by a periodontist for aftercare of a graft. And before care of an implant placement.
A mouthguard is a rubber shield worn over your teeth to protect them from damage during sporting activities. BCI Dental Laboratory custom fits a mouthguard from an impression taken by your dentist. Dentists recommend this as the best approach to protect your teeth, as “off the shelf” mouthguards are usually poor fitting and uncomfortable. A dentist will select either single, dual or triple laminated mouthguard depending on the age of the patient and the activity they require the mouthguard for.
BCI Dental Laboratory fabricates custom fitted bleaching trays from impressions taken from a dentist. The very thin trays, which hold bleach during the teeth whitening process, are designed for patient comfort. A special tray enables the dentist to produce high precision impression results. They are custom made to fit accurately around restoration area.

Do you make dentures?
No, we do not supply dentures. We are predominantly a crown, bridge, and implant lab. However, we do manufacture some removable appliances, such as splints, retainers, mouthguards etc.
What is your turnaround time?
Standard 10 working days, unless pre-arranged earlier.
Do you arrange pickup and delivery of lab work?
Yes, we cover the cost of a courier to collect and return lab work in our local area. Staff may collect and return on foot in the CBD. If you are not in our region, we will send you pre-paid express post bags to send us your work, we will return lab work via express post.
Do you provide a warranty?
Yes, we do. Fixed Dental Appliances (Crown, Bridge, and Implant): 5 years warranty. Removable Dental Appliances: 1 year warranty. See full terms and conditions below.
Do you accept digital scans?
Yes, we have an open 3shape system that allows us to accept all digital cases, included but not limited to 3Shape trios, iTero, Carestream, Dentsply Sirona case connect, STL files.
Do you manufacture in Australia?
Yes, we manufacture all our products in our Hobart Lab. We do not outsource any part of our procedure to manufacture our products. BCI Dental Laboratory is proudly licensed by Australian Made Campaign limited. License number 12034.
