I’ve been dancing with Dance of Life Belly Dance & Drums for a few years. Sonya is a skilled instructor and belly-dancer, and also very patient and supportive of her students. We learn a routine every 8 week term which enables us to perform with other dancers when we feel confident; however, there is absolutely no pressure to perform if we choose not to. Sonya also shares the culture and history of the style of belly-dancing she teaches, which certainly enriches each lesson. I always love going back to class at the beginning of term.
