Providing household worm farms, compost worms through to waste management systems & bait worms. Solid and liquid worm castings.

Nutrigold Worm Farm is located on the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland. We are a family run worm farm providing customers with household worm farms, compost worms for worm farms through to waste management systems and bait worms for fishing. We also provide solid and liquid worm castings, the 'black gold' of the fertiliser world.

We mainly supply the worm castings and household worm farms locally, although post compost worms and baits worms throughout Australia at very competitive prices. Our Nutrigold Worm Castings are 100% organic and odourless. They are packed with the minerals that are essential for plant growth. Worm Castings increase the ability of soil to retain water, enhance germination, plant growth, and crop yield.

FAQschevron down

What type of compost worms do we supply?

We have three types of compost worms, and they all live harmoniously together. The Reds, Blues are the largest of the three, the African Night Crawlers (which we also sell as large, juicy bait worms).

Are our Worm Castings safe to use on all plants?

Yes. The worms have done all the hard work for us. The organic matter passes through the strong muscles in the worm's body and ends up as castings which contain up to 90% available plant nutrients. These nutrients are immediately available to the plant without the risk of ever burning the plant, unlike chemical fertilisers and animal manures that need to be broken down

Will a household worm farm be just another job?

Your own household worm farm operates with very little extra work from you. As long as you feed your worms the correct food regularly (an excellent way to get rid of all your kitchen scraps and other organic waste), and keep it in a shaded area, your worms will happily go about making you the most amazing fertiliser your garden has ever known. The only job you will be required to do is collect your solid castings once a tray has filled.
