Eastside Crane Hire is Geelong's leading supplier of modern hydraulic mobile cranes. The company was formed in the mid 1980's by then owner Don Hemsworth and has since been acquired in 2007 by Gibb McKay, owner and Director of Williamstown Crane Hire.
Eastside Crane Hire has been a trusted name in Geelong’s crane hire industry since the mid-1980s. Originally established by Don Hemsworth, the company took a bold new direction in 2007 under the ownership of Gibb McKay, also the Director of Williamstown Crane Hire. Following the acquisition, the fleet was revitalised with seven modern cranes, all under five years old, cutting the average fleet age from 13 to 8 years. Our diverse lineup includes mini, city, Franna, truck, and all-terrain cranes. Since our inception, we have served countless clients throughout Laverton North.
