Once the toe is numb to ensure a pain free surgery a small section of the narrow problematic portion of the nail is removed, a chemical is then applied to the root of the nail to prevent that section of nail regrowing.

Do you provide diabetic assessment?

Diabetic assessment of the feet involves: testing the quality of blood flow to the feet with a doppler device, nerve testing is to detect the response of nerves to the feet - how much sensation you are feeling and diabetic foot education is given to ensure your feet get the best care.

What is dry needling?

Dry needling is a mildly invasive procedure in which a thin filament needle is inserted into the skin and muscle directly at a trigger point. A trigger point is a small muscle fibre contraction causing knots, which are related to the production and continuance of the pain cycle. They often occur as a result of muscular dysfunction and stress.
