A beautifully constructed landscape can provide the perfect setting for your house but there are sometimes environmental factors which need to be taken into consideration. We offer a range of landscaping services including the strategic placement and/or breaking of feature rocks and the building of retaining walls, terraces, gardens, and ponds to match any size building development or self-build. Sub-surface drainage can also be hidden within the contours for every landscape project.

Site Preparation and Bulk Excavation

Before any building foundations can be laid, the land surface needs to be levelled as per the plan specifications. The more tidily this is done, the easier the rest of the construction will be. Whilst flat blocks of land are more easily prepared, slopes or enclosed spaces require more attention to detail, which is why it is vital that you have an expert operator on site. Land Clearing and Fire Breaks

Do you need bushfire protection? The removal of turf, vegetation, boulders, general debris and excess soil before construction begins is referred to as land clearing. Services Include: Properties can be cleaned to make fire breaks to meet the Tasmanian Fire Service requirements Area can be cleaned up by removing low vegetation from amongst the larger trees Trees can be chipped and recycled as mulch Stumps can be removed Area can be totally cleaned to be used as a lawn or garden area

Demolition

Fehre's Excavations can demolish and remove concrete, masonry and timber buildings. I will even make arrangements for recycling and/or asbestos removal if required. One of my previous jobs was the demolition of the Hobart Law Courts and Remand Centre in Liverpool St, Hobart, opposite the Royal Hobart Hospital. Rock Breaking
