How long do you need my car for when replacing the windscreen?
For a standard windscreen the recommended safe drive away time (as advised by us) is generally 2 hours. If your windscreen is fitted with a rain sensor, heater or lane departure warning camera the more time will need to be allocated. A vehicle with LDW camera will also need to be recalibrated after the windscreen has been installed.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, all of our work is covered by O'Brien Glass Nationwide Lifetime Guarantee. Conditions are outlined in the guaranteed card, which will be provided to you with your receipt.
If I am at work and need a replacement windscreen, are you able to drop me off at work and pick me up again when the replacement has been completed?
Yes, if you live or work within the Mildura area, we can certainly drop you off and pick you up. This will need to be organised at the time of booking.
Do you repair chips in windscreens?
Yes, using tools and technology exclusive to O'Brien Glass we can restore your windscreen's strength in around 45 minutes, saving you the cost of a new windscreen. If you are unsure if a chip can be repaired, we have trained technicians in store who can make an assessment and offer advice on repair or replacement.
