Is there a warranty for repairs by Pearson Automotive?
All repair and service work at Pearson Automotive is backed by our 6 month or 10,000 km warranty. Please note that Pearson Automotive is unable to reimburse the cost of repairs carried out during the warranty period by a repairer other than Pearson Automotive except where express prior approval for those repairs has been obtained.
Will you contact me before extra work?
Before any added repairs are carried out, you are contacted and notified of any additional costs involved. We will not carry out any added work without your prior consent.
There's a strange noise coming from my car. What should I do?
Book in your car with Pearson Automotive as soon as possible. Any unusual mechanical noises, rattles or shuddering often mean that something may be malfunctioning and it may even compromise your safety.
What about things like Windscreen Wipers, Lights and other items on my car. Are these checked during a Service?
Pearson Automotive will check items on your car according to the level of service you request. You can ask us to take special attention to any of these items if you think it may need checking.
Do you check my tyres during a service?
Tyres are one of the most important items on your car and directly related to your safety. Pearson Automotive technicians will check your car's tyres during servicing. Should you need a replacement - we will recommend the tyres best designed for your car. We can offer a complete tyre replacement service: fitting, balancing and even wheel alignments.
My car is new or still under Warranty. Should I only Service my car with the original manufacturer?
Your manufacturer's warranty is not affected by servicing with Pearson Automotive. Pearson Automotive is approved for log book services under manufacturer's warranty. We can endorse your car's logbook - so you can track the history of your car's maintenance. A regular maintenance and service record could improve the resale value of your car too.
