Telex Hearing Centre is a family owned and run business that has been operating since 1969. Starting in Hurstville and the Central West of NSW, with visiting sites in Mudgee, Gilgandra, Dubbo, Wellington, Orange and Bathurst. Telex Hearing Centre has since opened a permanent clinic in Miranda (2005) and visiting sites around the St George and Sutherland Shire through Shire Optometrists at Cronulla, Gymea, Jannali and Illawong; Sam Issa Optometrist Engadine; Narwee Family Practice and Dr Kenneth Howison (ENT) rooms at Kogarah. There is also a visiting site at Salamander Bay in Port Stephens.
Telex Hearing Centre is a family-owned and operated audiology service, steadfastly serving the community since 1969. We pride ourselves on being family experts in hearing, with a deep-rooted passion for helping individuals improve their hearing abilities. Our journey began over half a century ago under the leadership of Graham Rathbone, and since then, Telex Hearing Centre has grown into a cornerstone of auditory healthcare in our community.
We offer specialised hearing care, combining years of expertise with advanced technological tools to accurately diagnose and manage hearing loss and other ear-related disorders. Our team comprehensively understands that each case of hearing impairment requires a tailored approach—thus, we place immense emphasis on personalised care.
Our clinics, located in Hurstville and Miranda, are equipped with the latest in audiological technology, ensuring that every assessment and treatment we provide is based on the most current practices in the field. Moreover, we extend our services beyond these locations through regular visiting clinics in Mudgee, Gilgandra, Dubbo, Wellington, Orange, Bathurst, and the clinics in St George and Sutherland Shire.
