In my honest opinion, I have never dealt with anyone like an unnamed man I spoke to from The Carpet Man, in my business or personal life.
I was asking for confirmation that he would show up the next morning as he missed our first appointment. After him getting pointy and arguing out of the blue that he never confirmed an appointment (which he did), and for the 100th time mentioning petrol prices, he advised how about he just not come and hung up.
When I called the business phone number to complain to a senior, I was put back through to this man (even after explaining to the receptionist what had happened) who states “complaint received”. I asked who I was speaking to, he gave me his name and hung up on me.
I then called a third time, left my number with the receptionist hear back from the owner – and well I am still waiting.
The way this was handled sways my opinion to think this is just how its done at The Carpet Man, and rude, arrogance and nasty behavior is just the norm.
Just flabbergasted that someone behaves like this in the middle of a discussion, so much so I was amused and not even angry – an actual “what just happened” moment.
I am actually nervous this man has my address.

DO NOT USE!!!!! Firstly i had to chase them up as i waited 2weeks for them to install when i told them it was urgent i was promised by the end of the week. wont name representative but he specifically told me they would install matching carpet in the house im renting then they installed a carpet completely different color and refused to give me a discount and had to pay full price, now have one room in the house with different carpet that i have to explain to property owners thanks for putting me out of pocket by $600 guys.
