I’m so disappointed that I have to rate this business as a 1 star! I thought I had found the perfect hair dresser but after they rescheduled my appointment, I have since become ill and need to get covid tested. I rang to move my appointment out only to be told I would have to forfeit the $50 booking fee I had already paid for the appointment they moved 2 days earlier and that I would be charged an additional $50 for a new booking fee. This is no way to breed customer loyalty and the double standards of it being ok for them to move my appointment after they took the booking, took my booking fee and then decided on the day that they didn’t have enough time to do the cut because they closed at 5 and had booked my appointment at 4. If I had been a no show at other appointments then I could fully understand being re charged, but I have shown up on time for all prior appointments. Really really disappointed, and unfortunately would not recommend this salon based on this experience.

Excellent services, always provide professional care

I have found this to be the most unprofessional and least customer friendly salon I’ve come across.
They provide no way to email them, if you want to contact them in writing it has to be via Facebook messenger
When you ask for an email address they try to refuse and when they eventually do provide one no one answers your emails

I paid a premium for a style cut, colour and full head of highlights - $290
I got a trim, a temporary colour that lasted four washes, and no highlights

I let the salon know within a few hours I wasn’t happy - as soon as I got a good look at my hair in the light

They couldn’t care less even though I provided photos showing my hair was nothing like I asked for or the photos I’d asked them to replicate

I finally got them to agree to look at my hair and they cancelled the appointment last minute

I paid a lot of money to have my hair done for Christmas, New Year’s Eve and my engagement party and they not only didn’t provide the service I paid for, they could not care less that I’m unhappy

It’s unacceptable to provide such poor customer service, there’s a lot of choice out there and I will do everything I can to warn people away from this salon who will take your money but don’t value their customers

Amazing. The girls are great fun, services are always spot on. The salon is clean and vibrant and there is always new stuff popping up. Plus their products are all nature based so win win. They always give me exceptional service each and everytime. I've had balayage, been an ashy blonde, maintained reeeally long hair, chopped heaps off and each and everytime Im so pleased with the results. The team are so lovely, chatty and best of all honest! They talked me through the best cut for my face shape and luckily away from chopping it all off. I've been looked after by most of the girls, even the apprentices have been amazing. When you go you must try the chakra oil scent thing they do as well! Oh and check out their facebook, they've got more pics and stuff

Disgusting overpriced salon who think they are in Hollywood. Stuffed up two colours and then charged exorbitant price. They think it's ok the rip people off because they are in mornington. Poor form, rude and gauging for poor quality service. $75 for simple student trim. Outrageous!!! I guess someone has to pay for the salon renos. $400 later. Fuming....

Amicus is simply the best experience you could ask for, 100% satisfaction.

I can't recommend this salon highly enough! The staff are incredibly friendly and skilled, I live 3 suburbs away but will still travel without hesitation just to come to Amicus

Honestly, the best service I have ever had at any salon. I've had my hair cut by a few different staff members now, they all know what they are doing and do a fantastic job. Very accommodating and friendly. I will never go anywhere else again. Highly recommend visiting and seeing what I'm talking about for yourselves.

I had been trying to find a great salon a while ago and was recommended to Amicus. As soon as I entered Amicus I was welcomed by a beautiful bunch of girls who were friendly, funny and extremely accommodating. Amicus is the most outstanding salon possibly ever, the staff is marvellous epically the nail technician Alix. I had a wonderful service with Alix as she was very experienced and educated, using only the top products. I also got my hair coloured by Abbey, she did an incredible job with my hair turning out better than I ever thought it could. Abbey does wicked blow waves and fast. I felt like a true princess at Amicus. I have been going back to Amicus for quite a while now and will continue to go back.
