      EMPAK Homes would become a reality in the early 1980'scoinciding with Michael Mitchell taking up an administrative role with the company that would eventually see him assume the role of Managing Director. The mid 1980's would see the commencement of the Conroe Heights Development which would lead to the company relocating to its current Mount Gambier base. The early 2000's would see both Clint and Heath Mitchell join the company as Construction Manager and Business Development Manager respectively. From humble beginnings Norman Mitchell has seen his company lead the local industry through over half a century of change, and he attributes the companies success to it's ability to listen, understand and then adapt to become stronger as the result.       Where do Empak Homes build?

      Although based in Mount Gambier, Empak Homes build as far north as Kingston S.E. including the townships of Millicent, Penola, Beachport, Robe, and Naracoorte. We also travel into the Western Districts of Victoria, including Nelson, Casterton and as far north as Edenhope. We currently have two residential developments in north-east, Attamurra Heights and Attamurra Fairway Estate. A proposed new development, Station Run, will also soon open on the western side of the city.


      Can I access site during the build?

      Empak Homes not only continue to allow clients to access site, we encourage it. In making one of life’s biggest investments we believe that you are the most important part of the process. As such you’re on-going and active involvement in the build, both on and off site, is important to us.

      Is there any help available when I make my colour selections?

      We have a specialist selection consultant who will personally guide you through the whole process of selecting everything required to build your new home. This process takes place both in our office and at various local businesses to make sure that you get specialist advice at the right price. The after sales support from these local businesses is also a key part of our service.


      Can I alter an existing Empak Homes design?

      You sure can. You can alter designs. Bring in your own design. Or develop a unique design starting from scratch. All this is possible as we undertake all preliminary design work in-house as part of our design and construct service.
