In 1976 Richard Hooper purchased his first crane in association with Hooper Engineering. After building an extensive fleet, Richard formed Mudgee Cranes Pty Ltd in 2007, growing the business to its current capacity to service the local region. Paul Tuck-Lee purchased Mudgee Cranes in 2011. Paul has extensive experience working with cranes, both at Hooper Engineering and as Manager of Mudgee Cranes from its inception in 2007. Paul, and his professional team, continue to expand Mudgee cranes, providing additional resources for the local region and to cater for increased and changing crane hire demands.

Tell us about Franna cranes?
Franna cranes are capable of pick and carry. They are useful for smaller-reach lifts such as placing pumps and chutes, etc., in CHPP and other similar applications. Our Franna cranes are 14T, 16T and 20T capacity cranes.
Tell us about Slew cranes?
Slew cranes are suitable for bigger lifts, such as heavy loads, or when a larger reach is required. In addition, Slew cranes are capable of reaching much greater heights. Our Slew cranes are 55T, 80T and 160T capacity cranes.

We are located at 31 Sydney Rd, Mudgee NSW 2850.
What general services do you provide?
We are providing general construction, tree relocation, steel and panel erection, accident recovery, roof trusses, pool and spa lift, power and light pole erection.
What mining services do you provide?
We are providing mine shutdown work, transfer dump truck bodies, assemble new plant/machinery, mine maintenance and loading/unloading transport equipment. Contact us for more details.
