When should I bring my child to the podiatrist?
At any time, whenever you are worried about conditions of the lower limb. There is no cut off for age for an assessment. We can advise about lower limb growth and development and recognise issues early when there are more treatment options available. Common conditions are in-toe gait, flat feet, pain in the feet, ankles or knees, heel pain or severe disease, limb length differences, in-growing or misshapen toenails, verrucae pedis or plantar warts & complex juvenile pathologies.
Do you accept Medicare referrals?
Yes, we accept valid enhanced primary care programs referrals. We employ online Medicare claiming, so that you will receive your rebate promptly without having to go into the Medicare office.
Do you accept American Express?
Yes, we accept with no surcharge.
Do you have health fund rebates?
Yes, we are able to process most major funds on the spot to receive eligible rebates.
Do you make your own orthotics?
Yes. We have our own orthotic laboratory on-site. Your podiatrist will be involved with every step of the manufacturing of your device. We usually allow just one week for processing time and we can offer a same day service for out-of-town visitors or people under time constraints.
Do you do in-grow toe nail surgery?
Yes. We offer permanent nail solutions to be performed in rooms under local anesthetic avoiding the need for general anesthetic and hefty hospital and anesthesia bills.
