General Info

Delivering durable, innovative, and sustainable Australian-made polyethylene water tanks for diverse industries and environments.

Starting in 1998 as a family business Global has grown from a small part time venture into a large national company with factories in Victoria and Queensland. Global Roto Moulding Pty Ltd began trading in 1999 as Mildura Roto-Moulding. At that time, our product range included a number of small tanks and a range of custom moulded machine parts.

At Global Roto Mouldings Pty Ltd in Ipswich, we specialise in the design and manufacture of high-performance water tanks and tank supplies for a wide range of industries, including mining, domestic and industrial water, agriculture, rural water, and coal seam gas. Our integrated services—spanning design, production, quality control, and delivery—ensure precision and consistency. Every product is made using advanced manufacturing processes and rigorous standards, helping clients across sectors manage water supply, chemical storage, and liquid transport reliably and efficiently.

Our Australian-made polyethylene water tanks meet AS 2070 and AS/NZS 4020 standards for drinking water and food contact. Built from UV-stabilised, rust- and corrosion-resistant materials, our tank range covers residential slimline and underground models, commercial and agricultural tanks, as well as modular designs from 550L to 5000L. We also offer specialised solutions such as Urban Camel Tanks for compact spaces, underground septic and pump-out tanks, and heavy-duty storage for firefighting or irrigation systems.

Global Roto Mouldings Pty Ltd’s extensive cartage and transport tank range includes diesel, fuel, and spray tanks with full drainage, baffles, and insert-ready designs. From 35L sprayers to 15,000L premium storage units, we offer tanks with anchor points, sump options, dual-skin moulding, and custom fittings. Our aquaculture tanks and traditional large-volume tanks are engineered for durability and ease of use. Every product reflects our commitment to sustainable, long-lasting solutions for water management in all environments. Call us for further details!

FAQschevron down

Why consider roto moulded plastic parts?

Benefits include weight reduction, corrosion resistance, and reduced cost. Rotational moulding provides the designer the freedom to address form along with function. Parts can be designed to be more ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing without affecting performance. In many cases roto moulded parts reduce the number of components in an assembly.

What colours are available? Can I choose my own?

Colour can be incorporated by dry blending a customized pigment formulation with ground natural material, or by hot melt compounding prior to grinding. With both methods, a wide range of colours is available. Our design team will evaluate specific requests. Important considerations are: base resin, pigment type restrictions (if any), environment, cost, opacity required, and part surface finish.

What materials are your tanks made from?

Our tanks use high-grade, UV-stabilised, 100% recyclable polyethylene designed for durability, chemical resistance, and environmental safety.

How can I find out if a product can be contained in a roto moulded part?

Specific chemical resistance information is available upon request. It is important to provide additional information such as temperature, concentrations, density, and how the product is to be used.

What kind of tooling is required?

Thin wall, hollow molds of two or more sections are most common. These molds are typically cast or machined aluminium, or fabricated from steel or aluminium. Individual mold sections are fitted with frames and a clamping system. The mould is provided with a method to mount it to a rotomoulding machine.

What tank sizes and types do you offer?

We offer modular, slimline, residential, commercial, agricultural, above-ground, underground, cartage, transport, and aquaculture tanks in various sizes.

What industries do Global Roto Mouldings Pty Ltd tanks serve?

We supply tanks for mining, domestic, industrial, agricultural, rural water, coal seam gas, and aquaculture applications.

Are your cartage tanks customisable?

Yes, cartage tanks like Bigfoot and Lightfoot include custom fittings, full drainage, baffles, and food-grade material options.

Are your tanks suitable for drinking water?

Yes, our tanks meet AS 2070 and AS/NZS 4020 standards for safe drinking water and food contact use.
