      When I select reverse, it makes a loud grinding type noise and will not go into gear. What is the problem?

      The clutch could need re-adjusting because of excessive free play, or it is worn out.

      This sound effect is caused by a faulty or worn out synchro ring clutch hub fault.


      When driving my vehicle, it makes a constant noise, but when I back off and on the throttle the noise changes. Any ideas?

      Your differential will create this noise change. A worn out bearing or bearings on the crown wheel, and passed it's used by date.
