Our dedicated team is always here for your pets

General Info

We always offer advice to the best of our abilities and that your pet will feel right at home at any of our veterinary clinics.

Here at Canley Heights Veterinary Clinic we provide a welcoming and professional healthcare service for your pets. All of our veterinarians and veterinary nurses are extremely passionate about animals. We believe that by showing care and compassion, every vet visit might become a bit more of a fun visits. We look forward to seeing you and your pet again at the next scheduled visit.

As pets age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time. The risk of cancer, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, heart disease and other serious conditions all increase with age. Annual health checks can help your veterinarian diagnose, treat or even prevent problems before they become life-threatening. They’re also a great opportunity to ask us about nutrition, behaviour or any other issues. Call us today to book a health check for your pet with one of our vets.

Really disappointed

This is really unacceptable, my 3 week old parrot got really sick and he needed a good treatment. I booked an appointment and when the day of the appointment came, my parrot died. It’s really unfair that you keep your patients waiting. I’m really offended by this.

Do not recommend for avian- botched surgical procedure

My parrot (blue and gold macaw) died while hospitalised here, and the autopsy found that their cannula insertions created a cyst and ruptured the airsac.

I went here because it was one of the only specialist avian vets in Sydney. During the treatment, I was arrogantly told by one of the vets that Canley Heights is significantly cheaper than other vets and you get what you pay for.

Good bird doctors

So pleased with the doctors, Dr Jana and Dr Ian. They genuinely care about animals and want to help. Also charging reasonable amount. I am so happy I found this hospital and these doctors.

No professionalism or compassion

We said that we didn't want to purchase an urn for our dog's ashes and the vet assumed this meant we didn't want her ashes at all. They never asked us to confirm or sign anything. Called up today wondering where her ashes are and were told that they were given a 'clinical burial'. In other words, they were dumped because of an inconsiderate, unprofessional vet. Completely heartbroken.

Dumped our dog's ashes

Our beloved dog had to be put down earlier this month. It was a total shock and not something that any of us saw coming. After giving him the news, my father was barraged with questions about burials and urns. He told the vet that he wanted her cremated but did not want to buy an expensive urn. The vet just assumed that this meant he didn't want her ashes at all. A few weeks later, my father calls to check up on her ashes, as he hadn't heard from the vet since she was put down. They told him that she was cremated and given a 'clinical burial'. How somebody can just assume that a person doesn't want the remains of their beloved pet is beyond me. All we wanted was to scatter her ashes along her favourite walking track, but because of a 'communication breakdown', neither us or our dog will have peace. Utterly heartbroken.

I`m always impressed with the service and care here for my cats and guinea pigs. They sometimes get very busy but if you make an appointment it helps save time. Their prices are very reasonable too.

I have been to a few vets over the years as have moved around a lot. This is very good clinic, the staff are helpful and friendly, really are gentle with the animals....their fees are reasonable and they do not try and foist unnecessary products on you. The clinic is clean and I rate them highly. I came back here after an absence of 10 years and found their consistency was still there.
