Have breakfast before you go to breakfast!

What a disappointment!

We went for a birthday breakfast in a group of 9. When we arrived there were only 2 other guests. Despite this we waited nearly an hour and a half for our "meals". After 45 minutes waiting we were delivered complimentary bread and jam and advised to "enjoy as you'll have a wait". Handn't we already waited? What were we waiting for? We were the only people there to be fed as the other 2 guests were just on coffees.

The quality of food - woeful would be an understatement. Servings small. My scrambled eggs provided a clear liquid bath for the rest of my dish to swim in. Tomato - well about 1/3rd of a roma - shame. Bacon - nice. Toast - like rubber.

Other people at the table - burnt to a crisp rostis, soggy mushrooms, out of chorizo and the list goes on. It would be fair to say a lot was left on the plates when we were done.

$15 (for my dish) not well spent and over 2 hours of life wasted in a nice atmosphere, which was unfortunately very cold. I was shocked to see the restaurant not actually in the gaol, so the experience was effected on this level too.

It's not worth the 1 hour drive we made. Would NEVER go back.
