Coastwide operates a river gravel quarry at Allworth, 30km north of Raymond Terrace in the Hunter Region. The quarry supplies a unique river gravel to the landscaping, concrete and construction industries. The unique, soft colouring of the rock makes it ideal as a decorative stone, and for use in specialist exposed and polished concrete mixes.
Coastwide's extensive range of quarried and recycled products includes decorative and construction aggregates, landscaping & construction rock, washed & filling sands and road & sub base materials. With a large fleet of tippers, Coastwide can supply even the largest of material orders. Coastwide are continuously looking to the future, recycling old concrete for use as drainage, sub-base material and even aggregate for the next generation of 'Green' concrete.

What mix do I need?
Different concrete mix specifications are used for different purposes. Coastwide employees are fully trained and able to advise you which mix to use on your application.
How much notice is needed for a Coastwide readymix delivery?
Ideally 24 hours notice is needed; however, Coastwide staff will be only too pleased to try to deliver to you at shorter notice if required.
How do I estimate how much concrete to order?
Measure the length and width of your job, and call Coastwide Readymix Concrete's helpful staff. They will calculate the necessary volume for you or you can use our online volume calculator.
Do weather conditions affect the concrete?
The Coastwide Batching Manager will take the weather forecast into consideration and adjust the mix additives accordingly. You will also be given advice on curing and care on the day of delivery, which will be relevant to the current weather conditions.
Is concrete made in colours other than grey?
The possibilities are only limited to your imagination. Coatswide's helpful staff are kept up to date with innovations and trends in decorative and coloured concrete.
