We had a fantastic experience with Dr Jeremy Rourke at Port Macquarie Star Dental. He was incredibly kind and gentle with my 10-year-old, making her feel comfortable and at ease during her appointment. At the same time, he was very straightforward and clear about what she needed to work on to improve her dental health, which I really appreciated. His approach was caring but honest — exactly what we were hoping for. I highly recommend.

Words can’t even begin to describe how absolutely fantastic the team were at Star dental. This afternoon I went in for an appointment and it was the first dentist appointment I have had in a very long time and required a wisdom tooth removal. I went in and did not have to wait very long at all before I was taken into one of the rooms by one of the lovely dental nurses and introduced to the dentist Jeremy. Jeremy wasted no time in ensuring I could go next door have an X-ray done and I returned within 30 minutes in which Jeremy was honest and explained throughly the importance of having the wisdom tooth out due to further issues and gave me the option of having it out on the spot or using antibiotics and coming back. Jeremy explained that i would need it out regardless and showed me my X-ray and explained the procedure of having the tooth removed and then proceeded to remove the tooth. Jeremy utilized all the available methods to ensure my procedure was pain free and to be honest it took not even 30 minutes to completely have the tooth removed and I made an appointment to come back and have further work done ! Then as I went to pay thinking it would be expensive, Jeremy and the team went one step further and charged me only $150 to remove my tooth ! I am lost for words about how fantastic Jeremy and the team are and thank you team for making what is normally an uncomfortable experience very relaxing and went to every effort to ensure it was affordable and as stress free as possible. I will be recommending these outstanding professionals to everyone who asks. Thank you again Jeremy and your wonderful team !

As a rule I am not to keen on dentists, but this time I had fun. The staff were friendly and my experience was most enjoyable. The procedures I saw were the most modern and up to date, Everything was fully explained to me. I know which dentist my family and I will be going to from now on. I cannot praise you enough. keep up the excellent work. The dentist even went out of his way to try and find out about a misguided quote that I received from another source. That is way beyond what I would have expected. That is what I call Best Practice in Customer Service. the follow up consultation was also the best. who would have thought that you can have at the dentist. Miracles do happen.

Dr Jeremy's got my vote as the best dentist on the north coast - I had some nasty dental experiences in the 1970's which left me dreading any dental work, but going to Star dental is less stressful than any dentist I've been to since. Dr Jeremy does injections that you don't feel, super quick extractions and is always on time. He is also the only dentist that I've been able to contact after hours for an emergency and book an appointment the next morning ! - and he also give "courtesy discounts" which makes going to the dentist much more affordable. I travel 120 km's to go to Star dental from home & back ( have traveled 500 km's to go to Star dental and back when I was living in Newcastle for 2 years) - Dr Jeremy's dental skills are worth the drive. - Mark S
