Can you provide a pilot service for my job?
Carter Heavy Haulage owns and operates a pilot vehicle which can be engaged to escort your over size/over mass goods when required. Our operators are all competent over size/over mass escort vehicle operators enabling us to safely and efficiently manage your OSOM goods journey.
Which areas do you service?
Primarily we service the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter and Mid North Coast regions, however we are happy to provide a quote for any area within Australia. Regardless of how challenging the geography or how complex the lift, we work with you in the planning of each project to help ensure timely and effective solutions to get your equipment to where it needs to be.
Do you meet safety and compliance regulations?
The Heavy Vehicle National Law, Transport legislation and Work Health and Safety legislation dictates the responsibilities of every person involved in the supply chain. To this end Carter Heavy Haulage & Transport has comprehensive policies and procedures in place to manage our compliance requirements. We ensure that all drivers and staff are trained and have internal and external auditing processes in place to ensure we lawfully meet our obligations.
Can you track goods whilst in transit?
We have implemented state-of-the-art telematics across our fleet giving us the transparency to see where your equipment is at any time from collection through to delivery.
Will my goods be covered by insurance for the duration of the job?
Yes, Carter Heavy Haulage maintains Public Liability, Marine, Workers Compensation and Heavy Vehicle insurance policies. We are happy to provide Certificates of Currency to ensure your peace of mind.

Can you arrange the necessary permits to transport my equipment?
Yes, we are able to arrange all necessary permits and authorisations to ensure that the transportation of your equipment is carried out within legislative and regulatory requirements.
