Is speech pathology covered by Medicare?

You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions per the calendar year under the Chronic Disease Management program (CDM). In order to access the rebate, you need to ask your GP to complete a CDM referral. Your GP will determine your eligibility for the program.

Do you offer your service by appointment?

Yes, please call or email us for an appointment.

Is speech pathology covered by private health funds?

Speech pathology is covered under most health funds.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

No, you do not require a referral to book an initial appointment with us. However, we strongly recommend you seek an assessment with an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon for imaging of your larynx (voice box). Please visit an ENT who has specialist knowledge in laryngeal/voice disorders (often called a Laryngologist).
