      In short, yes - there's no such thing as it can't be done! However this can be a costly experience. Where possible Banister Marine try to avoid painting fibreglass boats because your original gelcoat on your boat is more durable than many paint systems on the market.       How can I bring some life back to my old boat and restore shine?

      There are a lot of great products on the market now especially designed for the marine industry from cutting compounds, UV stable wax and polishes. They can either be applied by machine or by hand. Banister Marine would be happy to advise anyone looking at trying to make their boat look new again and give you pointers on how to tackle this job yourself (hence save some money) or give an estimate on having your boat detailed at Banister Marine.
