      General Info

      We aim to always operate with the following core values: Integrity – Generosity – Respect.

      In 1965 Cape Cod commenced building what were then called “roof conversions”, offering clients a limited number of designs. We grew quickly and began designing and building home additions in all styles and materials. Based at North Parramatta, we now employ 40+ office staff and have a network of 100+ trade contractors. Many of our subbies have been associated with the company for > 15 years.

      Since 1965 we have managed major home renovation projects for over 7,300 clients and won numerous awards for the quality of our designs and construction, included being awarded as the HIA NSW Professional Renovator Builder of the Year (2012).

      Can we trust Cape Cod to finish the job on time, at the agreed price and with high quality workmanship?

      Cape Cod has built its reputation on doing just that! For added peace of mind, the HIA Plain Language Contract is your guarantee that we will meet all of our obligations, and we pay you $1,000 for each week that we are late in completing construction


      How long will my Home Addition take to build?

      Construction can take from 6 weeks to > 6 months, depending on the size and complexity of your project. Our clients are continually amazed by the speed of construction time. Once council has approved the application we will advise you of the construction time and this will be specified in the building contract.       Do we have to move out during building?

      Most of our clients carry on their family life and it is generally only necessary to move out if major ground floor renovation work is required.
