      Speech Pathology Cradle Coast is the private speech pathology practice of Sonia Lillico based in Penguin, Tasmania. Sonia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, a member of Speech Pathology Australia.

      Sonia is an experienced speech pathologist with a special interest in feeding problems in babies and children. Sonia has more than 25 years’ experience treating adults and children with problems arising from developmental delay, learning difficulties and medical conditions. Sonia’s career has seen her work as a therapist and manager in hospitals, and has experience working in rehabilitation centres, schools, workplaces, nursing homes and supported accommodation. Assessment And Treatment Provided for disorders of swallowing, eating, speech, language, cognition and literacy for people of all ages. People of all ages sometimes need to see a speech pathologist. Sonia can see infants who are having difficulty with breast/bottle feeding. Children are seen for problems with eating, developing speech sounds or using words for talking, fluency and literacy. Adults are seen for difficulties with swallowing, tongue thrust, or communication caused by illness or injury. Sonia is an approved provider for Medicare programs and private health insurance funds. Sonia is registered to provide supports for National Disability Insurance Scheme participants. Parents can refer their children without a medical referral; information relevant to why you may be seeking a speech pathologist is helpful and appreciated.
