      Handy Hire is a Queensland owned and operated company with over 25 years of experience in the hire industry.

      Our extensive range provides you with a choice of modern up to date equipment for all types of needs. At Handy Hire, we've got it all, making life easier! All items are for hire on a dry hire basis. This means you get plant equipment with instruction for safe operation that is fully supported in the field by our mobile service network.

      We cater for all aspects of the building industry, civil work, domestic work and party hire. Additionally we can provide transport if required (charges apply) and even assist you in sourcing operators for the equipment.

      Support services are available for fleet & project system management, major project management plant & hire support. Training and damage waiver cover are also available.       Has the equipment been checked over and serviced?

      All of our equipment is fully serviced and checked each time it is returned.


      What if I need the equipment longer?

      If possible, enquire prior to the equipment becoming overdue and if you need to hire the equipment for a longer period, please phone us and we can make arrangements.


      Do I need a ticket to operate this equipment?

      Some pieces of equipment require formal licences; please phone us if you are unsure.


      Do you have quality assurance?

      Yes, Handy Hire conforms and complies with all ISO 9001 compliance.


      Can you deliver?

      Yes, we can deliver to the Wide Bay Burnet Area, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Gympie and surrounding areas.


      Do you sell what we can hire?

      Yes, we can sell anything that we hire. We have a fully stocked showroom for all the accessories that you may need to get your job done.


      Do you have MSDA and risk assessment valuations?

      Yes, we do. However, it is job specific. Please enquire.


      Do you take EFTPOS?

      Yes, we do. We take all major credit cards.


      Will you show me how to operate the equipment?

      Yes, we supply full operating instruction verbally and in writing.


      Do I need a drivers licence?

      Yes, you will need a driver's licence and a contact number for identification purposes.
