The Image Robes interactive wardrobe designer is easy and fast to use.
Your robes are custom made. Prices are for wall to wall or alcove fixing. Height is floor to ceiling to a maximum of 2700mm. As well as providing a full in-home service (design, quote & installation), Image Robes also offers a DIY flat pack system for the handyman or country customers.

What is the maximum size of a wardrobe door?
A general guideline, for maximum door size is given below. There are a number of exceptions to this guideline, depending on the materials used, structural strength, purpose of use and other engineering considerations. Generally, each sliding door is a maximum of 1200mm wide and 2400mm high. If a wardrobe is 2400mm wide, it could have two or three sliding doors.
What is the best design for children's wardrobes?
Flexibility is the key. Children have changing needs as they grow. Baby clothes need little hanging space and lots of shelves and drawers. As they get older they will need short hanging space and toy storage. During adolescence, toys will get replaced by school books and there may be a need for longer hanging. A well thought out combination of adjustable and removable shelves with removable hang rods is generally the solution. Our trained designed consultants can assist with your design.
How can I make my room look larger?
Mirror doors can make a room appear larger, they can also reflect light which can assist in giving your room additional dimension. Rooms with high ceilings can appear smaller if the wardrobe goes right to the ceiling. To prevent the room from becoming overpowered by the wardrobe and becoming closed in, consider stopping short of the ceiling.
Do your robes have a backing?
No, not usually. We use your back and side walls as the wardrobe backing, however, if you do require a backing or a floor in your robe we can do this for you.
Are there standard sized wardrobes?
No. All wardrobes are custom made to best provide for your needs.
Do you charge for measurements and quotes and how far do you travel?
Our measures and quotes are free & no obligation. We travel anywhere in the Adelaide Metropolitan Area, anywhere from the Barossa Valley to Mt Barker to Victor Harbour. We also provide DIY kits for our country clients.
We have tall ceilings, what are my options?
We can fit a lid to the track height (up to 2700mm high), or depending on ceiling height fit a fascia between the top track and the ceiling. If you have an older home, ornate plaster cornices could be one of its most valuable features. Here our consultants suggest that the wardrobe stops short of the cornice. This way there is no interruption to the line and beauty of the plasterwork.
I have a wardrobe with one shelf and one hanging rod, can it be made more useful?
Yes. There are a number of design alternatives that can include double hanging, long hanging drawers, shelves and baskets. Often removing your existing shelf and installing a new shelf higher in the robe will increase your usable space. There are special options to make the top section of your wardrobe usable if you have a low bulkhead.

Excellent servuce. Lovely salesman (Andrew), helpful, used to be painter/decorator so helped me with that as well. Next week wardrobe installed. Lovely man again, friendly efficient had it done in no time. Price identical to Classique of Hindmarsh. Came down to who could install it the earliest.
