      Portland Mutts 'N' Mogs offers experienced and caring boarding services for dogs, cats and other small pets. Located in a peaceful, rural setting only five minutes' drive from Portland in South Western Victoria we provide a clean, secure and comfortable environment for all our guests.

      Portland Mutts 'N' Mogs was purchased by the owner, Nicole Stanley, in 1997 as a natural extension to Nicole's successful dog grooming business Situated on fifty acres in a relaxing country setting, Portland Mutts 'N' Mogs have grown to become one of the leading pet boarding establishments in South Western Victoria Portland Mutts 'N' Mogs comply with the Code Of Practice for boarding as required by the Victoria State Government and is a member of the Pets Industry Association of Australia.

      Can I visit your boarding facilities before deciding whether to board my pet there or not?

      Yes, you're welcome to visit us anytime during our opening hours and we'll give you a tour and answer any questions you may have.


      I'm staying in the area; can I take my dog out for the day?

      Yes. You may take your dog out for the day as long as it is collected and delivered during our opening hours. Many visitors take their dogs to Cape Bridgewater which has a fabulous, dog- friendly beach. It is only 5 minutes away.


      What do I need to bring?

      You need to bring vaccination certificate. We can't accept pets without it. Also, need to bring contact telephone number, any medications or special diets labelled with pet's name and instructions for any special requirements your pet may have. Please treat your dog or cat with a flea preventative product before arriving. A favourite toy or blanket may help your pet feel at home during its stay. Please bring all dogs on lead and cats in carry boxes.
