Operating from expanded facilities in Portsmith, Cairns, with large workshops and modern equipment, Cairns Sheetmetal can produce up to 25 tonnes of ductwork per month. With a skilled team and extensive project experience, the company continues to deliver reliable, high-quality HVAC ducting solutions.

Cairns Sheetmetal was established in 1991 as a specialist manufacturer and installer of air conditioning ductwork. Since its formation, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality ducting solutions across commercial, industrial, and government projects throughout Queensland and beyond. In 1997, Cairns Sheetmetal expanded its operations with the purchase of Shed 8, located at 36 Buchan Street, Portsmith, Cairns. Continued growth led to the acquisition of Shed 7 within the same complex in 2005. The combined facilities include: Unit 8 (Main Shed): 705 m² workshop 400 m² storage shed 238 m² fenced yard Equipped with a 3-ton gantry crane Unit 7 (Duct Shop): 1,400 m² workshop 1,204 m² fenced yard These facilities enable efficient large-scale production and streamlined project delivery. Cairns Sheetmetal employs a team of 15 skilled staff, including a highly experienced Factory Manager with over 20 years of service
