      Why are dental checkups important for horses?

      All animals, including horses, are susceptible to various dental problems like plaque, tartar, gingivitis, periodontal diseases, etc. They need to be checked and treated on time to avoid major problems.


      Do I have to make an appointment for a large animal?

      Large animal consultations are by appointment only, however emergencies may be seen at the clinic or your property at any time.


      What times do you admit patients for surgery?

      Surgery patients are admitted between 8:00 and 8:30am. We recommend appointments during these hours to maximise the benefits of your visit. All surgery patients need to be fasted for 12 hours prior to surgery. This allows an early dinner the night before surgery. Access to water overnight is okay, but remember no breakfast.


      What is VetPay?

      VetPay is a payment plan that lets you pay for your pets treatment over time, you pay your vet an initial deposit, and we direct debit the balance in fortnightly repayments from your nominated bank account.

      We are open from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm from Monday to Friday and 08:00 am to 01:00 pm on Saturdays. We are also available after hours for emergencies.
