North Bundaberg Vet Surgery Pty Ltd offers complete medical and surgical veterinary services in modern air-conditioned premises.

North Bundaberg Vet Surgery is a full-service veterinary surgery providing a wide range of care for small animals and pets, from cats and dogs to wild native species. Since opening our doors in 2007 with a core team of four staff, we have grown (and continue to grow) our list of services and practice facilities.

North Bundaberg Vet Surgery Pty Ltd opened its doors in June of 2007. We started out with one veterinarian and three support staff. We have expanded both our premises and staff - we now have two full time veterinarians and multiple support staff. Our veterinary nurses all undertake further study to expand their knowledge. Our head nurse has a diploma in veterinary nursing and our remaining nurses are all qualified certificate IV nurses. Our nurses and support staff keep up to date with the latest products available for pets and can assist you with any advice you may need.

How old must my cat or dog be to get desexed?

The ideal time is from 5 - 6 months old.


Do you see large animals?

We do not do farm visits but are able to see and are experienced in miniature horses, goats, sheep etc that are able to come into the clinic.


Do you help wildlife animals as well?

Yes, we do. Here at the North Bundaberg Vet Surgery Pty Ltd, we treat any wildlife that may need vet attention. After treatment, we refer on to wildlife carers for aftercare.


Do you have an emergency service?

Yes, we have 24-hour emergency service; please contact the office number.


Do you do orthopedic surgery?

Yes, we have a fully equipped surgery, with the latest equipment.


Should I microchip my pet?

Yes, you should with all new pets and any change of ownership.


Is grooming available for dogs and cats?

Yes. At the North Bundaberg Vet Surgery Pty Ltd, we provide a full range of grooming services, including cat clips and specialised dog clips such as poodle cuts etc.
