The driver was more than happy to accommodate our out-of-the-way pick up and drop off when we accidentally got off the bus too early. Very quick, good communication and not expensive. Thank you!

Caught a taxi last Saturday with StradbrokeTaxis. 8km trip and charged us $40. Driver also claimed he had seen us before and asked if we were gangsters. First time on the island, never met the driver previously and both of us are professionals. Could be the darker skin and the fact we were wearing baseball caps as we were off on a day's fishing. Rude, rip-off and stereo typical. I guess the old guy has the monopoly on the Island so best of luck to anyone else who needs a taxi on Straddie.
