      We believe passionately that every child has a right to a happy early childhood.

      Maryborough Child Care Centre is a well established, NOT-FOR-PROFIT community based long day care centre and was the first i the region. We cater for children aged 6 weeks - school age between our 4 rooms. Believing that high quality early childhood education is provided by high quality staff, the centre has historically and continues to employ more educators than required by National Regulations so that we have excellent adult to child ratios. All our educators are very well qualified and committed ongoing professional development. We run a Reggio Emilia inspired play based program, including a government approved Kindergarten program

      We believe passionately that every child has a right to a happy early childhood. When they look back at their childhood it should be filled with wonderful memories of fun, friends and freedom of cubbies and 'critters', mud pies and mulberries, bikes and beetles, treasure and tadpoles, laughter and learning, comfort and caring, warmth and welcome. Children spend many hours in child care and it must be a place of warmth and welcome, where they feel 'at home', are valued and understood. To build wonderful childhood memories children must have a sense of 'ownership' of their environment.

      Our job’ is to provide the very best possible place, people and programs, and the environments, enthusiasm, energy, experience, expertise and encouragement for this to happen.
