Sunshine Coast Pet Resort

We took our little dog for a trial run in Golden Paw Lounge. I had reservations after actually seeing the place. . The drive down wasn't inspiring or welcoming at all as it looks like the entrance to a junk yard & once inside it looks nothing like the pictures on the website. . The place was very smelly & dirty, it's very run down & in need of a good clean up.
They advertise cuddles on the couch with your dog, where's the couch? All I saw was some dirty chairs & a table. . We logged onto the camera system to see our little one in Golden Paw Lounge very frequently throughout the day & all we saw were dogs left alone in a room looking very sad sitting at the windows & doors. Our little one was harrassed continually & pinned to the ground by a bigger dog called Bella & we never saw any staff in the Golden Paw Lounge until we rang them with our concerns. The outside area the little dogs are allowed in is just a fenced off area of very rough ground & not really a suitable area at all. Overall a terrible experience & our little dog left terrified. Needless to say she certainly won't be staying at this place!

I recently left my 13year old dog
at the resort and was very impressed
by the care he received. Everyone that
I dealt with was kind, caring and professional. I was very worried leaving him as he has been unwell for some time but he came back to me happy and lively.
I would definately recommend this place to anyone wanting great care for their dog. Virgil stayed in the silver paws lounge it was well worth the little bit extra cash.
