Horizon Shores Boat Sales

This review comes after having done a review on facebook where soon after posting the following comment, the business has disabled the review function and therefore hiding my review of our experience. It is as follows.....



This is simply stating our recent experiencing using this brokerage. After enquiring why we hadn't receive the funds from the sale of our boat yet, we received an email basically saying that we should give 3k to the buyer due to a list of issues. The buyer himself confirmed that they did not ask for this email to be sent or ask for any compensation for these "issues". This business sold our boat at a higher priceto the buyer and did not inform us of the higher amount, keeping the extra 3k to himself. After already collecting 4k in commission, they collected another 3k from having two seperate contracts with the buyer and seller. So in the end this broker increased his 4k commission to 7k by a separate contract then also tried to get another 3k from us claiming it needed repairs which the new owner knew nothing about.



We have proof of both contracts so denying your actions is invalid. As I said in my initial review, steer clear of this business.
