I found this website and it sounded great - save thousands on a vehicle at dealer only auctions. I sent an enquiry email and first thing Monday morning the saleman was on the phone. He went over my vehicle requirements and within an hour he was back with a vehicle that he said matched my needs. He emailed pics and a brief outline of the car - I should have known, if it sounds too good to be true - it is! He rang me back and asked if I was interested I asked him "are you sure you can get this for the maximum drive away value I set" it seemed fantastic to me that I'd be getting a $10,000 car for $6000. He told me that we needed to move fast because it was going to auction the next day and that to bid on the car I'd have to pay the $660 membership fee so that he could order an inspection on the car and email it to me by 5pm. Sucker! I paid! plus a credit card fee! By 5pm I had the "inspection report" I was caught up in the excitement reading it. The next morning I rang to find out what time the auction was.... that's when I started to suspect I had been conned. They fobbed me off and said they would be back in touch when they knew. Using some of the details on the "inspection report" the report created JUST FOR ME, I searched the internet, I found the car, it was at Pickles Auctions including the same inspection report! Pickles are open to the public! But that didn't matter so much because the car was NOT GOING TO AUCTION - it was a fixed price sale for $9990, well above the budget that I'd set and my budget was $7000 drive away. This car had no registration. So when I did the calculations, after taking out the $675 I'd already paid, the Rego, stamp duty, plate fee, Road worthy, and transport fee (another undeclared charge by these scoundrels) there was just $4750 left to bid on a car with my $7000 budget. I contacted the business with 24 hours cancelled the "contract" and demanded a refund, but was unsuccessful in getting anywhere with them . Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this company.

BDA take the cake! They ripped me off 12 month ago, and I have posted this review three times but they keep getting Yellow pages to wipe all the bad reviews. Both other times I posted there were already four or more one star reviews and these have all been wiped each time. Here is my original review.I found this website and it sounded great - save thousands on a vehicle at dealer only auctions. Could have been so much worse, many customers who proceed with a purchase through these guys are left with lemons and expensive repair bills, I count myself lucky only loosing that much.

http://www.brisbanedealerauctions.com.au/terms-and-conditions/ make sure you read their terms and conditions in full. And are aware of all the fees they charge. $658.90 is just the first fee, then its another $500 for them to bid at the auction, then there is a auctioneers fee of approx $599.00 then the RWC fee, and you pay for any repairs that are required. The vechical report is for the cosmetic appearance of the car and tyre tread depth. Nothing about how the car drives or the mechanical condition. They do not test drive the car. And they dont exclusively find you a car at a dealer only auction. You will be sucked into thinking your getting a great car at great price when they send you the out of focus pictures of a prospective car. They sent me picture of a car, i later found it at an auction site and read the auction site condition report and it was a very bad and damaged car. You will also be liable to purchase the car and responsible for the cost of rwc and any repairs that are needed. So I hope luck is on your side, you will need it.

I would not recommend Brisbane Dealer Auctions. I waited 5 months while they held my $670.00. I gave them a limit of $20,000.00 for a 2015 Nissan Navara with low kms and ended up with a 2014 with high kms for $20,000.00 . The car had dints and scratches, it had an oil leak on the rear main seal, cracked windscreen. tape holding on the front guard, I can't imagine I would get $14,000.00 for it, I would like to know what they paid for it, they didn't hand the car over until I paid them extra to fix it. I have phoned A CURRENT AFFAIR because I heard they have run a program on them, I'm also talking to CONSUMER AFFAIRS. I phoned a couple of the auto auctions to find out where the car come from, the Brisbane auto auctions had no idea who they were

Purchased a car almost three weeks ago, after calling them daily and sometimes up to 6 times daily, they advise the car is arriving 'tomorrow', Call the next day and continue to get the same due date. Car finally arrives two weeks after purchase and the affiliated mechanics to do the work find absurd faults with the vehicle and extreme prices charged for it. you can't remove the vehicle by your own means and are locked to their shady contract. After trying to speak with a manager for over a week, legal action will be commencing. DO NOT USE THEM!

BDA certainly take the cake! They contact me to offer a refund 6 months after I requested a manager to call me but have to remove a bad review which was factual and true to get the refund. I am happy to accept $350 (basically half of fees paid) but as i can not remove negative feedback from TrueLocal due to truelocals own regulations BDA now refuse to respond to my emails. Ripped off once again by BRISBANE DEALER AUCTIONS!! Come on when will they learn. GENERAL PUBLIC beware of this business. I have emails proving there deceit.
