My dad put me onto Jeff a few years ago and i haven't seen another Mechanic since! Jeff and his boys do fantastic work, i know by taking my car to get repaird that it will be done once and done right, no need to come back days latter because the problem isn't fixed.

From the moment I started talking to Jeff and his team to the after sales phone call checks, I havent had this level of customer service for a very long time. My little Datsun engine issues where diagnosed, assessed and fixed well above all expectations and beyond what I was hoping for. Budgets where discussed and predictions for the final bill where spot on and I was informed throughout the process. I can certianly say that if I have any problems or tune up needs in the future that Yatala Head Worx will be my first and only call.

Ive had a few jobs done. My only issue is the consistent high prices. In my experience Ford are generally the most expensive for servicing however these guys charge well above Ford and then slog you a 3% credit card surcharge when most banks only charge max 1.5%. Unfortunately i wont be getting any more work done here. Last service was a basic service through Ford capped at $380, Yatala Headworx had to investigate a noise which was a plastic cap on the water pump however i was charged $656. Charged $450 more than quote from Ford for a clutch replacement. Always like supporting local family business however I dont support paying high prices well above the market.

As both of the reviews below I had an overheating vehicle fresh off the M1. It had to wait over at the BP for a couple of days as Jeff and his boys were flat out. When Jeff and his boys got around to it they did exhaustive tests to see if I had blown a head gasket or if it was something more minor. It was a pretty minor problem and they priced the job accordingly. Honest mechanics are becoming rarer, Jeff is fair dinkum and knows his stuff. Cheers Jeff and co

Similar experience as the other reviewer, i'd broken down on the M1 on Friday evening. Saturday i spent the day looking for a mechanic that was open but couldn't find any, i saw a young guy working on a car in a work shop i drove past, pulled up and he said he wasn't opened he was just working on a friends car, took several hours out of his day to help me get my car back on the road so i could at least drive back to the Gold Coast where i live.

I now drive 40 minutes up the M1 to get any work done there, these guys are super friendly and honest. It's a family run business with the father who owns it and his sons who work there too. Highly recommended!

The most honest and reliable mechanic shop you will ever meet!

Pulled my car in there overheating on a Saturday afternoon, by chance there just happened to be some people in there ( not in business hours ) The guy was happy enough to stop what he was doing and looked over my car and diagnose for me, for nothing.

My job was nearly going to cost more than the car was worth, and the guys there strongly adivsed that I was not to proceed with any work to be done on it, as I would be just wasting money.
