      How do I know if my pet has dental disease?

      If your dog and your cat is over three years old, they likely have dental disease. Your dog doesn’t brush their teeth everyday like you do. Your pets rely on chewing food, toys, bones and dental treats to clean their teeth of food, debris and the random things they eat. If your dog or cat isn’t chewing on their food, bacteria settle in on the surface of their teeth and in their gums. As your pet ages, these bacteria form plaque on your pets’ teeth, calcifying to stick to your pets teeth.
